What is Adorn The Future?

Trevor and Louisa have chosen to launch Adorn the Future during Frieze Week, a key moment in the international art and design calendar when thousands of collectors, curators, and creatives converge on London. With PAD London also taking place at the same time, it felt like the perfect context for a show that intersects art and design. However, access to these major fairs is often limited—either by high ticket prices or invitation-only restrictions. Our aim is to offer a premium yet accessible platform where collectors, interior designers, and the culturally curious can engage directly with artists and designers. It’s about creating a dynamic, democratic space that removes barriers and fosters real, first-hand connections between visitors and makers.

What is the demographic of exhibitors?

Our exhibitors will span a broad and exciting range of disciplines—including fine artists, painters, illustrators, draftspeople, sculptors, textile designers, furniture makers, metalworkers, lighting designers, ceramicists, and glass artists. The idea is to bring together a group whose practices intersect both art and function. If someone wanted to create a fully bespoke interior—layered with meaningful, handcrafted pieces—every element, from walls to furniture to decorative objects, could be sourced from the talent we are showcasing

How do we plan to curate Adorn The Future?

In terms of layout and design, Adorn the Future will take a more immersive, curated approach than traditional stand-alone presentations. Rather than isolated booths, the works will be displayed in small, thoughtfully composed vignettes—domestic in feel, rich in atmosphere—where pieces by different artists and designers are brought together to create a lived-in, cohesive environment. This helps viewers see the work as it is meant to be experienced: as part of a tactile, visual, and emotional landscape.

Which audiences will we attract?

With over 20 years of experience of running small to large scale events, both Trevor and Louisa have amassed a significant following of private collectors, interior designers, architects, global brands, and press. Alongside our personal reach, we will be collaborating with selected event partners such as Decorex, The London Art Fair and selected livery companies to name a few. We have also appointed a dedicated PR team to support brand awareness of the showcase as well as our selected artists. Recent editorial coverage from our showcases include The Financial Times, The Times, Wallpaper*, House & Garden and Elle Decoration UK.

The Venue

We have secured 83 Rivington Street, a former railway arch and night club located in the heart of fashionable Shoreditch, London.

This venue benefits from beautiful brickwork walls, large open concrete floors, a café, a conservatory, and a courtyard garden (famous for its original Banky’s). Unlike other industrial spaces, this venue benefits from being all on one level, ensuring access for all.
